Loudon Wainwright III - Unrequited (1975) (@256)
Vassilisk, in one of his valuable editing comments, reminded me that Loudon Wainwright III, the father of Rufus Wainwright, released in 1975 the lp 'Unrequited' which contains the song 'Rufus Is A Tit Man'. So Rufus' name was mentioned in discography twice (along with the McGarrigle sisters' first lp), within 1975. Just for the record, I searched for the respective release month of each lp. I found only about Loudon's lp (March 1975). Can anyone tell for sure the month of the McGarrigle's release?

ReplyDeleteΣυμπληρωματικά, άλλες δύο, μεταγενέστερες, αναφορές του Loudon στα τέκνα του αποτελούν τα "A Father and a Son" (από το History, 1982) και Pretty Little Martha (Final Exam, 1978).
Release date for the first McGarrigle album was 01-01-1975.
