Slint - Spiderland (1991) (@256)

Spectators of this year's Primavera music festival were lucky enough to see Slint presenting (one month ago on 31/5) live their album Spiderland, one of the most important releases of the 90's. "Spiderland remains one of the most essential and chilling releases in the mumbling post-rock arena. Even casual listeners will be able to witness an experimental power-base that the American underground has come to treasure. (...) Surely, years later, Spiderland is still a strong, slightly overrated, compelling piece of investigational despair that is a worthy asset to most any experimentalist's record collection." (allmusic)

  1. I thank you for linking my blog, and I'll explain why I haven't linked yours: You're lucky, I can't get rid of this guy in Chicago that deletes all things in my blog related to Slint, Rodan, Rachel's, Nina Nastacia, Arcwelder, it seems than even Bonnie 'Prince' Billy... He just checks during office worktime... Once he wrote the most obnoxious comment, he is just a hitman working for a label... Watch out for him. I put up another private blog for such bands, but nobody has asked me yet for getting admission.

Love lots of things you have put here.
