Various Artists - In God's Country, The Music That Inspired The Joshua Tree (2003) (@256)

Funfax reminded us that on March 9 was the 20th anniversary of the release of U2's Joshua Tree. Assuming that you all have this landmark album (in case you don't, go now and buy it!), I upload a premium cd given with Uncut mag (issue 10/03) containing songs which inspired U2 for the creation of this masterpiece. Be prepared to enjoy equal doses of folk, blues, country, country blues, bluegrass and rock'n'roll.
PS Pantelis, I was also serving the army back then... what a pity for both of us
